Rapid Transformational Therapy

RTT is considered a hybrid type of Hypnotherapy. It comprises the most effective components of Hypnotherapy, Neurolinguistic Programming and Psychotherapy, to achieve quick and lasting change. People typically experience success in 1-3 sessions of RTT, compared to traditional talking therapy, because it gets to the root of the issue easily and quickly to heal emotional wounds and break limiting beliefs and negative patterns, allowing you to truly thrive.

Hypnotherapy is used as the vehicle in RTT because of its ability to allow access to the subconscious mind. The direct access hypnosis allows means the information required for you to understand what is really going on for you is readily available, as opposed to endless talking, digging and searching, going over your story session after session in the hope that the root of the issue might eventually be found

What Happens In A Session?

Each session starts with a brief chat about what you would like to get out of your session. Then I put you into a relaxed state of hypnosis. You remain in control for the entire session and you will remember everything afterwards. In this relaxed state with access to your subconscious mind, we revisit scenes from your life which have contributed to the development of your deeper beliefs, which are driving your current behaviours.

Reviewing these scenes through the lens of your adult eyes, you can give new meaning to them and remove any limiting beliefs that you may have formed as a child. After looking over three or four scenes from your life and working together to understand their meaning for you, I then give your mind suggestions, upgrading you with new helpful, supportive beliefs that are in line with what you want for yourself and your life. You then receive a personalised recording which you listen to for at least 21 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does hypnotherapy work?

Hypnosis is a normal, naturally occurring state of mind. It’s not magic – it’s science.
During the hypnotic induction, we create a burst of theta brain waves, similar to what occurs during the REM state of sleep. This enables us to access information stored in the subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is much more receptive to taking on supportive suggestions, enabling us to reprogram and rewire any negative thoughts, and eradicating unhelpful behaviours. Whilst you are in hypnosis, the conscious mind (that distractible, busy, critical, analytical part of the mind) takes a rest.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation. It is a pleasant, voluntary state of attentive concentration and focus, and you remain aware and in control throughout the experience. You are completely safe. You know where you are at all times and you can bring yourself out of this state at any time. The experience feels different for everyone. Some people feel a floating sensation, others may feel sleepy. For most people it is a feeling of  being physically, mentally and emotionally relaxed and at ease. In itself, it is a very healing, relaxing experience.

What if I uncover something I am not comfortable sharing with you?

If something comes up during the session that you are not comfortable revealing or sharing, that is absolutely fine. The important thing is how you feel, not the image details or what is going on in the scene, and so that will be the focus.

When will I see results?

There are often 3 stages of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy – and everyone’s experience is unique.
Immediate: You may feel a shift right away – immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviors during and at the end of the session.
Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, in beliefs and behaviours, or over time.
Retroactive: You may not see the shifts immediately, but then when you look back you see all the things that have changed.

Is there regression involved?

We go back to the root cause of why you struggle with the particular issue. Regression is an invaluable way to discover the source of an issue. You will not re-experience anything, you will simply observe events or experiences you have had in your past. What you see may make you sad or joyful but either way you will feel completely safe as you observe.

Can it be successful in just one session?

Sometimes, it can take more than one session for more complex issues, but generally most issues only take one session. You are, of course, welcome to book a follow up session for coaching, or another session of RTT.

What if I go back to scenes that are distressing or traumatic?

If this happens I will support you and create a safe space for you to review memories attached to past experiences, not relive them. The technique’s purpose is to enable understanding and freedom from the emotional ties to the past experience, not to recreate the experience itself. It is this observation that helps create understanding and the ability to reframe.
